We've all had those mornings where the mirror feels like a critic rather than a friend. We've all had those long days where we give so much of ourselves to our work, our families, and our friends that there is nothing left in the tank for us.
Over these past 10 years building Unique and Lovely, I've realized that while affirmations are powerful, they are easy to forget in the rush of a busy Tuesday or a stressful commute. I wanted to create something physical—a "grounding object" you could touch, see, and carry with you.
The inspiration for the Self-Love Enamel Pin came from the idea of a compass. Just as a compass points you home, I wanted this pin to point you back to yourself.
I intentionally designed this pin to be small. Now you might ask, why would she create a pin roughly the size of a US Quarter? The reason why is because self-love isn't always a grand, loud gesture. Sometimes, it's the small, quiet choices we make throughout the day.
This coin-sized reminder is small enough to sit discreetly on a lapel or a bag strap, but bright enough to catch your eye when you need a reminder to breathe, forgive yourself, or celebrate a small win.
When you wear this pin, you aren't just wearing an accessory; you're wearing a mantra and a gentle reminder that the journey of self-care has no finish line, but rather is a beautiful ongoing cycle.
